Closing checkpoint streams upon cancellation of a {{Task}} could help to interrupt the main thread being stuck in the {{snapshotState}} method of stateful operator. Otherwise, ff the snapshotState method takes too long to complete, the watch dog will kill the whole {{TaskManager}} terminating all other running tasks as well.
