GitHub user agoodm opened a pull request:

CLIMATE-821 - write_netcdf() assumes lat and lon are 1D arrays
This change allows for users to call ```write_netcdf()``` for datasets with 2D lat lon arrays. Waiting for @huikyole to test.
You can merge this pull request into a Git repository by running:
$ git pull https://github.com/agoodm/climate CLIMATE-821

> {{write_netcdf()}} in {{dataset_processor}} currently does not support datasets which have 2D lat and lon arrays. This is fine for data expressed on a cylindrical projection, but dataset grids on conformal projections (such as NARR) require this support.
