c++ client for kafka 0.8
Hi,
Is there anyone working on a c++ client for kafka 0.8 ?
Currently I do not see any in the 0.8 branch. It will be great to know if
someone is planning or has completed writing a c++ client for 0.8.

Hi Jun,
Thanks for the reply. I am interested in contributing.
I have a prototype producer client working. It can handle failover by
requesting metadata from the client. I want to refactor the code a bit, and
do some more testing with it. After that I can give a link to github
repository if anyone is interested in trying it out.

Rohit,
We do plan to write a c/c++ client for Kafka 0.8. We haven't started on it
though. We are still stabilizing the code base right now and will likely
start the work in a month or so. If anyone is interested in contributing
before then, that would be even better.
