Re: [DISCUSS] Graduation

Hi everyone, We've now conducted the suitable name search [0], we have a PMC chair, and we have a charter.

So unless there are any objections the next stage should be for us as a community to vote on whether we want to graduate. This is a free vote for the whole community as to whether we feel we are ready and want to take this next step and are happy with the draft charter [1].

If the outcome of this vote is "yes" then we can move onto the IPMC recommendation vote, and then finally, if that is successful, putting the resolution to the board.

Given its now a Friday, and votes run for 72 hours, I propose holding the community vote on Monday, closing Wednesday.

Re: [DISCUSS] Graduation

That's fine (and thanks for progressing this). Personally I don't
understand why podlings are expected to vote on this. I always advise
podlings to just go with lazy consensus. There has been plenty of time
to object during the preparations and there is always the IPMC vote
for final objections.

It's up to you but voting is not, IMHO, required.
