Hadoop On Demand - Patch available

Hi,

There were questions on the dev and user lists about Hadoop On Demand
(HOD), and whether a patch is going to be made available for the same.
This mail is to inform that a patch is now available on
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HADOOP-1301. The patch adds HOD
under the src/contrib branch.

There is documentation available as part of the patch.

On behalf of the HOD team, I request users to give it a try and provide
their valuable feedback. Please do let us know if there is any help we
can provide in getting you started.
