[~hachikuji] Are you referring to [this line|https://github.com/apache/kafka/blob/131f96868aa24f38f69ee2ab769ea3f289e5c1fc/clients/src/main/java/org/apache/kafka/clients/consumer/internals/Fetcher.java#L556] that is called once per partition of topic, instead of once per topic?
