Pb with Intake non requiered field

Intake on Turbine 2.2.

When using a non  non requiered intake field mapped to a bean
 i'd like intake to "blank" the corresponding property in the bean
if the field is not filled in the form.
How can i do that ?

In the default behavior bean properties are not changed if an intake field 
is empty.
