Using htpasswd in windows

I am trying to get a system running for a friend of
mine in a windows pc, but when I run: "htpasswd -c
c:\htpassword username" i get a problem saying
"htpasswd -c -n conflict"

and if i create the file c:\htpassword and then i run:
"htpasswd c:\htpassword username" it will let me enter
the password but then it says that "the process cannot
access the file because it is being used by another
process" when it is not being used.

Sorry if this is a known issue in windows, since I
myself dont have any problem creating a user name
database in linux.

Thanks a lot, Roberto

This isn't really a mod_perl question - you'd probably have
better results asking on a newsgroup like
comp.infosystems.www.servers.ms-windows.
