[~jmahonin] - is this one good to go? If so, would you mind committing? [~elserj] - any issues with a new dependency on https://github.com/jayway/JsonPath? Also, unrelated to this directly, but isn't there a big issue with JSON usage in Apache projects? Is that only for some implementations of JSON?
