I think it looks more like a question for [user@beam.apache.org|https://beam.apache.org/community/contact-us/]. Could you send it there (if not yet) since it will attract much more wide audience than a Jira issue?
Also, it would be very helpful if you could provide an example how it's supposed to be used together.
