Results from "make check"

While building Subversion 1.3.2 from sources (on a test FC3 machine, not
the FC2 machine I mentioned in my previous note), I ran configure / make /
make install / make check, and "make check" produced a test log which
contained the following error messages.

XFAIL: lt-fs-test 17: merging commit
XFAIL: lt-locks-test 9: able to reserve a name (lock non-existent path)
XFAIL: lt-locks-test 10: directory locks (kinda)
XFAIL: commit_tests.py 15: hook testing
XFAIL: switch_tests.py 10: switch a file to a dir and back to the file
XFAIL: switch_tests.py 15: commit with mods below switch
XFAIL: schedule_tests.py 13: commit: add some files
XFAIL: schedule_tests.py 14: commit: add some directories
XFAIL: schedule_tests.py 15: commit: add some nested files and directories
XFAIL: schedule_tests.py 16: commit: add some executable files
XFAIL: schedule_tests.py 17: commit: delete some files
XFAIL: schedule_tests.py 18: commit: delete some directories
XFAIL: diff_tests.py 20: diff a property change plus a local edit
XFAIL: diff_tests.py 28: diff a renamed directory
XFAIL: merge_tests.py 26: merge a replacement of a file
XFAIL: revert_tests.py 1: revert reexpands manually contracted keyword
XFAIL: revert_tests.py 3: revert a moved file
XFAIL: trans_tests.py 2: enable translation, check status, commit
XFAIL: trans_tests.py 3: checkout files that have translation enabled
XFAIL: trans_tests.py 4: disable translation, check status, commit
XFAIL: svnadmin_tests.py 3: load failure on undersized Content-length

Subversion seems to run OK in very preliminary and basic tests, despite the
above errors.

Are the above errors anything I need to be concerned about?

Thanks...

XFAIL indicates that that test failed, but we expect it to fail.
Typically these are tests for known but unsolved issues, features
requested but not yet implemented etc.

You'll notice that the return value of 'make check' will be 0 here, so
all is fine.

Lieven.
