Any reference to OpenTracing

Hello,

In the TomEE 8.0.0-M2 release note, I have seen: [TOMEE-2280<https://jira.apache.org/jira/browse/TOMEE-2280>] - Upgrade to MicroProfile 2.0

But no mention of OpenTracing is written: is it normal ?
Because TomEE 8.0.0-M1 is, as far I have understood, only OpenTracing 1.0 compliant and not OpenTracing 1.1 compliant.

Best Regards.

Hi Francois,

The Geronimo team skipped 1.0 Open Tracing implementation and went straight to 1.1, so TomEE 8.0.0-M1 already supported 1.1 which is backward compatible with 1.0, but since we were only MP 1.3 compliant, we mentioned that we had Open Tracing 1.0, but in reality it was 1.1.

I hope it makes it clear. Sorry for the confusion.

Cheers,
Roberto
