[Issue 125510] New: Profile not in expected place on OS/2
https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=125510
Issue ID: 125510
Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: Profile not in expected place on OS/2
Product: General
Version: 4.1.0
Hardware: All
OS: OS/2
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P3
Component: ui
Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org
Reporter: lgrosenthal@2rosenthals.com
4.1.1 RC3 does not create profile under %HOME% (typically X:\HOME\DEFAULT).
Instead, it is created under the application installation directory
(X:\SOMEDIR\OpenOffice 4\OpenOffice\4\user).

--- Comment #2 from Lewis Rosenthal <lg...@2rosenthals.com> ---
Thanks, Yuri.
Would it not make more sense to just follow the same template as for OO3, i.e.,
:
X:\HOME\DEFAULT\OpenOffice.org\3
X:\HOME\DEFAULT\OpenOffice.org\4
? I guess it makes little difference in the scheme of things, though it is of
some concern that a wipe/reinstall might remove the user's profile unexpectedly
if one did not know to check under the application tree, first.
