Could it be that the daily snapshots are still built from CVS? If it is
not possible to switch to SVN we should stop building that snapshots to
avoid confusion.

The SVN snapshots are finally here, but the URLs to find them are not
as I expected:
The BRANCH_2_1_X snapshots are found at
http://svn.apache.org/snapshots/cocoon-BRANCH_2_1_X/
The trunk snapshots are found at
http://svn.apache.org/snapshots/cocoon/
I'll update the link on the download page when I find some time.

Waiting on someone to apply my patch I'm afraid, apparently we don't
have karma to do that.

Yes, better have nothing than these ages-old snapshots.

Hi,
any news on that?
The snapshots still seem to come from old CVS.
I guess the link to the snapshots on the download page is intentionally
broken for this reason?

Torsten

Humm...well...it is indeed the case that our snapshots were still
generated from the ages old CVS repository.
We're working to resolve the issue, see
http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-493. Once that issue is
closed, a link to the location of the SVN snapshots will be shown on
http://cocoon.apache.org/mirror.cgi

That must be the explanation - It's been a long time since I downloaded
a snapshot. Everyone switched to SVN long ago and the 'snapshots' are
no longer used. I will get a Solaris SVN client and try that. Thanks!

Try the 2.1.8-dev:
http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/cocoon/branches/BRANCH_2_1_X

I have installed SVN on my Solaris box. Where do I checkout the latest
cocoon? I can only find releases, e.g.
http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/cocoon/tags/RELEASE_2_1_7/
Thank you.
