Kerning

How do I set kerning on my <fo:block>? And does FOP 20.4 support this feature?

Thanks,
Scott

I'm not aware of a possibility to control kerning
in XSLFO. If you are generating PDF, kerning will
be automatically applied to the standard fonts if it's
supported by the viewer.
As for the user defined fonts, you can enable kerning
(if supported) in the font definition. The bad news is
that the layout code does not use kerning for word
width calculation, but this shouldn't be noticable
except in very extreme cases.
BTW kerning is not the same as letter spacing.
