Re: DLQ headers in ActiveMQ
most if not all of that info is available already.
dlqDeliveryFailureCause property
org.apache.activemq.command.Message#getOriginalDestination (currently
not visible via a property)
org.apache.activemq.command.Message#getBrokerInTime
(System.currentTimeMillis()) via property JMSActiveMQBrokerInTime
The PutApplName thingy is missing, but you could use a DLQ per
subscription for durable topic subs,
maybe we can add the clientId of the sub as an additional property in
some future enhancement, and make getOriginalDestination accessibe
through some JMSActiveMQOriginalDestination
What sort of PutApplName is in your mind from JMS?
see the code at:

Re: DLQ headers in ActiveMQ

Hi Gary,
Thanks for your answer!
For some reason I do not see the "dlqDeliveryFailureCause" property set on
messages on my DLQ.
I use Apache Camel (transacted), does this interfere with this mechanism so
AMQ does not "see" the failure cause at all?
The PutApplName is nice to have when you have several consumers on a single
queue using selectors; the class name or (Camel) logging category.
Will using Camel also prevent me to get the JMSActiveMQBrokerInTime and
getOriginalDestination values?
All the best,
Robin
