Currently the Sling webdav servlet detects the content's mime-type based on the filename. It is a common scenario with webdav clients wherein a temporary files get created with arbitrary names while being edited. The name of the temporary file is not good enough for inferring it mime-type. For such scenarios, it is needed to detect the mime-type based on the actual contents of the file.
