There are two issues that if implemented in OO I could dump MS all together. 
One of them is this issue. I know I speak for multitudes of people on this one.
Give us Outline View ala MS Word.  

This isn't a navigation issue, Navigator works fine,  or an outlining issue per
se. Outlining in Writer is actually pretty cool.  It is the Outline view
functions. If I've used styles correctly, I can go to Outline View, collapse
paragraphs + - functions and sort or manually move them around. Return to Print
view, and BINGO, happy guy. 

The other issue is search and replace functions, like search for manual line
break, replace with paragraph break.  I'll do that wish where it belongs.
