[jira] [Resolved] (INFRA-9811) Request for GitHub OAuth token for
"repo:status" access to Apache repos

Chris Lambertus resolved INFRA-9811.
------------------------------------
Resolution: Won't Fix
Travis uses internal auth tokens against github. GH does not currently expose this, nor do we have the ability to allocate granular permissions at this time. This is a highly desired feature and ASF leadership is working on this with github. At this time, we do not have a solution. When we do, we'll let the world know. Sorry we can't help right now.

> The Apache Cordova project would like to request for a GitHub OAuth token with "repo:status" permissions to github.com/apache/ repos to be generated. It would enable Buildbot to update commit correctness status on GitHub.
> The key could be placed alongside the "github.passwd" file in the master directory, inside a file called "github.key", or inside of "private.py", similarly to githubSecret.
