[jira] [Commented] (HCATALOG-28) Trunk test not compiling: Upstream Hive change broke TestPermsGrp

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HCATALOG-28?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13034350#comment-13034350 ]

Ashutosh Chauhan commented on HCATALOG-28:
------------------------------------------

This is sufficient for trunk to get compiling. However, lot of boiler plate code where is there in this and TestPermsInheritance code where it installs Security Manager to get around System.exit problem can now be removed. So, we can simplify those tests. Jakob, you can either do them in this Jira or file a followup jira for same.

> HIVE-2134 added throwable to the metastore signature. TestPermsGrp wraps them in a runnable and needs to be updated.
