(magpie) 07/07: fix(contributor-growth): address adversarial-review findings and the deferred minors (#1429)

commit e286e6f69ab55a032823a9567087d8ac1afd3ebb
Author: Jarek Potiuk <ja...@potiuk.com>

fix(contributor-growth): address adversarial-review findings and the deferred minors (#1429)

    * fix(contributor-growth): address adversarial-review findings and the deferred minors

Copilot (gpt-5) reviewed each PR of the stack; this closes the valid
findings and every minor deferred from the earlier whole-stack review.

    Tool:
    - Area shares are over all merged PRs (or reviews) in the window, with
an "(unlabelled)" row; a single labelled PR among twenty no longer
shows as "100 %" of one area.
    - A boolean weight is rejected, a weights file that is not a JSON
object exits 2, and --repo must be owner/name.
    - `fetch --refresh` ignores the cache; the README documents the cache
key, that weights are applied at scoring time, the conversation
budgets, per-kind item ids, and that the penalty applies once per
      thread in each count.

    Skills and templates:
    - A self-linked account counts only when it links back to the GitHub
profile; attribution follows the identity rule explicitly in Step 3.
    - Briefs show the discounted value next to raw, penalty and adjusted;
mailing list, testing and user support are marked as collected.
    - contributor-to-committer names the contributor per real-names.md,
never with an @-mention; nomination flags stale or mismatched
      calibration.
    - candidate-screen stops without a roster, re-checks privacy and the
collaborator list before writing, replaces a same-day report by sha,
      and normalises report_path.
    - calibrate bounds the archive query itself at the holdout date.
    - Slack date bounds include the first and last day; shared workspaces
must list channels; a partial Discussions count says so.
    - The nomination config template matches the readiness template.

New eval case: a self-linked blog without a link back is not used.

    * Potential fix for pull request finding 'CodeQL / Module is imported with 'import' and 'import from''

Co-authored-by: Copilot Autofix powered by AI <62...@users.noreply.github.com>

    * test(contributor-metrics): drop the unused import left by the CodeQL autofix

The autofix switched one test to patching by string path but left fetch_items imported and unused, which ruff rejects (F401). The other test that imported the module a second time now uses the same string-path patch, so neither import pattern CodeQL flags remains.

+The 50 most recent authored PRs and issues and the 20 most recent reviewed PRs get a conversation fetch for pushback candidates; older items, and triage threads beyond the thread budget, get none and keep full weight — the budget errs toward the contributor, as `automated-contributions.md` requires.
+Item ids are per kind: the same PR can appear as `pr-N`, `review-N`, `thread-N` and `triage-N`, and the calling skill classifies each id it means to discount.
The search string is written to a tempfile and passed as `-F q=@<file>`, so a handle never reaches a shell argument.

+- An area's share is its weight over **all** merged PRs (or reviews) in the window; work with no area label is reported as an `(unlabelled)` row, and a PR with two area labels counts toward both, so shares can add up to more than 100 %.
+- The penalty is applied once per thread **in each count** the thread appears in — a pushed-back PR lowers opened, merged and threads-commented alike, because each count is compared with its own floor.
