You can go to
http://www.w3.org/TR/xmlschema-1/#outcomes
and identify the cos-applicable-facets entry, then follow that:
http://www.w3.org/TR/2001/REC-xmlschema-2-20010502/datatypes.html#cos-applic
able-facets

This can be a general way to find out more information for the parsing
errors.
