The attachment(s) - to follow - contain code for a generic TCP request 
response sampler.

The sampler requires the user to write a protocol handler to request data and 
gather the server response. However, a very basic protocol implementation is 
included, which can read a response from an HTTP server.

Limitations: this is an early release. The interfaces and class names will 
change as problems are discovered. The design may prove inadequate.
