   When you get an SDE with a long pile of diagnostics (and they are commonly very long), the dialog box extends off screen on the bottom.
   
   Presumably there is just one "dismiss" button there, so if you just put focus on that dialog and hit enter, it works to dismiss the dialog. But really there should be a finite sized fits-on-screen dialog that puts the diagnostic text into a scrolling window (from which you should be able to do standard cut/paste btw).
