Leaving the project

Hi all,

I just wanted to let you know that I am leaving the project.

Due to a recent carrer move I stopped using PHP and stopped using the
Components.

Is it possible to get my commit access revoked so it avoids any
potential problem ?
If you prefer I can ask Infra to do this, just le me know.

I wish you all the best for the future.

Best Regards,

Thats fine - in this case I don't think you'll need to drop a note to general@
Actually I expect this project to be retired, and so you don't have
anything to do.

Cheers!

I'll try to send a notification to general@i.a.o next week. If ever I
forgot feel free
to ping me. Regarding my commit access, I'll wait to get my account
cleaned up so
I do not interfere in any process, if that is OK for you.

Have a nice day :)

Hello Jerome,

a pity to hear that. :-( But of course, congratulations and all the
best for your new job!

The process is that you inform your fellows (what you have done) and
then send a notification to general@incubator.apache.org. The
Incubator chair will then revoke your commit access.

Please be aware, that there is no need to do something like that.
There are many people who are not active on their projects. Once Zeta
graduates (which is not very likely at the moment) there will be a
clean up in the committers list too. If you like you can still hold
your access and see if you have some primetime, energy and fun left in
a few weeks or so.

Anyway, if you are still convinced that you would like to drop of this
project, please send an email to general.

Cheers
Christian
