Exceptions that occur while logging threshold exceeded alerts cause the GatewaySender to shutdown

If an exception occurs while logging threshold exceeded alerts, a fatal message and warnings like these are logged:

The catch block in {{GatewaySenderEventRemoteDispatcher$AckReaderThread.run}} stops the processor.
