[users@httpd] re-writing or directing a http: request to https:

My Oracle 9iAS 9.0.2 sso server does authentication (LDAP 3.x) for my Apache
1.3.22 webservers.

There is a bug in sso, such that an https: request, when redirected to the
sso server for authentication, is then redirected back to original request
URL but that redirect is not http:

I want to change it back to an https: request.

Suggestions....

Thanks in advance,
