JCR integration in Jetspeed 2.2.1 ??

Will the JCR integration mentioned here (
http://wiki.apache.org/portals/Jetspeed2/ContentManagementSystem) and here (
http://davidseantaylor.blogspot.com/2009/06/roadmap-jetspeed-221.html) make
it into Jetspeed 2.2.1?

I looked at the current trunk sources and was unable to find it.

Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris,

We haven't added any codes into Jetspeed-2 trunk for the JCR integration features as found in David's blog article.
I believe it would be possible to add somethings for Jetspeed-2.2.2 release because we are currently willing to release Jetspeed-2.2.1 soon.

Kind regards,

Woonsan

Hi Mansour,

It's true that some JCR integration features have been included inside Hippo open source projects such as Hippo Site Toolkit.
However, for clarification, it is currently just a kind of bridging solution from the portlet application framework side.
I believe Jetspeed-2.2.2 release will contain the full JCR integration features in portal as noted in David's blog article.

Kind regards,

Woonsan

Hello Chris,
Hippo CMS is already integrated with Jetspeed, and provides framework to
integrate JCR with the web site through Hippo Site Toolkit (HST).
Components created using HST can be easily used as portlets with jetspeed. Hippo project
provides a cms (a web interface to the JCR). This cms comes in a war
file. And can be deployed as a web application (I didn't try it as a
portlet). However, due to it's size I wont deploy it as a portlet, but
use it as a webapp and include a PSML page to access hippo cms.
