> We currently allow overriding all descriptor generated properties using configs with the exception of task.inputs. The task.inputs exception was intended to prevent mistakes during migration. e.g., adding inputs using descriptors but forgetting to remove the old configurations. However, as with other configs, there are cases where users may need to temporarily override the inputs list without having to create and deploy a new build. We should allow overriding task.inputs from configs too.
