[ANNOUNCE] FlexJS Component Wiki Page

Hello,

I've finished a wiki page about creating components for FlexJS [1]. Hopefully this will answer questions you may have about FlexJS.

I would really appreciate some feedback on this. In particular, I'd like to know what is confusing or unexplained. Being very close to the material makes it harder to see those things.

Thanks,

Hi Peter,

Nice wiki page, reading it, even for me, it is quite clear, indeed without
having tried to create or even used 1 component yet, I can't say if
something is missing but at least, the principles and the code base to do it
is understandable.

Good job,
-Fred

Thanks, Om (and everyone else, too). These are good points. I'll
incorporate them.

Looks very good and quite detailed to me. A few things I think are missing
(please feel free to ignore):

1. Initial set up. At least a link to [1] would be useful.
2. A bit more detailed explanation about what a 'Bead', 'Strand', etc.
means. A diagram would perhaps help.
3. An example of mapping to third party JS frameworks (JQuery, DOJO, etc.)
would be nice.
4. We probably need to add a note to component developers to avoid Flash
Player specific calls in the AS version - for which there are no reliable
HTML/JS versions

Thanks,
Om

I like the formatting. It's well grouped and easy to read.
