Ambari 2.1-snap, Alerts: "clusterName=null" error

Hi,

We get a lot of the following errors in the ambari-server.log file:

01 Jul 2015 19:36:52,683 WARN [alert-event-bus-2]

How do I track down where it comes from?

Since this is an upgraded Ambari installation from
1.5->1.7->2.0->2.1-snap, I suspect that we might be missing some
configuration for the alerts.

The ambari compile is from git 8817a7c on June 18th.

If I query the API, I see that all "id" has a corresponding
"cluster_name" with the correct name set (and same if I look in
alert_definitions table).

http://localhost:8080/api/v1/clusters/helm/alert_definitions/

Thanks,
Eirik

Hi Jonathan,

Thank you, I can confirm that running latest 2.1 branch resolved the issue.

Eirik

Hi Eirik,

You’re actually describing AMBARI-12046 which has been resolved in trunk and branch-2.1
