How to pass Node type argument through RMI?

I have problem with pass Node type argument through RMI connection. The stub
throws exception which is NotSerializableException. I am using
xerces_1_2.jar right now. It doesn't throw exception all the time, I always
got first time through, but it starts throwing exception after that. Anyone
got experience with this?
