JBoss integration issue - InvalidDestinationException

I am trying to integrate with JBoss using the ActiveMQ resourse adapter as
suggested on the  http://activemq.apache.org/jboss-integration.html JBoss
Integration  page. However I am getting the following exception:

javax.jms.InvalidDestinationException: Destination is not an instance of
SpyDestination queue://myQueue

I have seen other people facing the same problem on this forum, but no
solution. Has anyone solved this problem?

Is there an alternate solution by not using the JCA adapter and simply
defining a ConnectionFactory which JBoss can use?
