Upgrade from Karaf 2.2.4 to Karaf 2.4.2. RXTX Serial Communication Fails

Hi,

I'm attempting to upgrade from Karaf 2.2.4 to 2.4.2. I'm using the same JVM,
the same application, and the same serial devices. I can connect without any
issues when using Karaf 2.2.4, but as soon as I switch to 2.4.2 I can no
longer connect (timeout). There are no logs I can find or anything to hint
at the issue. 

Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm kind of stumped.

I figured it out. My application uses Apache MINA Serial Transport 2.0.1 to
connect to serial devices. Karaf 2.4.2 has a newer version of MINA (2.0.7)
which doesn't play well with the older Apache MINA Serial Transport. After
upgrading MINA Serial Transport to 2.0.7 I can connect to my serial devices
again.

Hi,

You mean you use serial to connect to the shell ?

Can you provide some details the way you connect (ssh, serial directly, 
etc) ?
