[users@httpd] OpenSSL Error: sslv3 bad record mac

I am getting these message in my error logs, does anyone know why these
show up?

Sun Solaris 2.8

Apache v1.3.28
mod_ssl-2.8.15-1.3.28
OpenSSL 0.9.7c

[Sun Jan 11 10:49:13 2004] [error] mod_ssl: SSL handshake failed (server
slb-sam-01.slb.cal.boeing.com:443, client 192.48.30.68) (OpenSSL library
error follows)
[Sun Jan 11 10:49:13 2004] [error] OpenSSL: error:140943FC:SSL
routines:SSL3_READ_BYTES:sslv3 alert bad record mac

I see quite a lot of these, especially under load.

I posted this on the mod-ssl users list as well.

Thanks
