[jira] [Commented] (OPENMEETINGS-1363) Unable to drag uploaded files to whiteboard / web ui not responding any more

Holger Pandel commented on OPENMEETINGS-1363:
---------------------------------------------

I just found out that when I set om to DEVELOPMENT in web.xml I get a nice (never seen before ;-) ) small dialog while trying to drag'n'drop a picture, asking me if I'd like to empty the whiteboard before or not and after that the image is inserted correctly. When I set om back to DEPLOYMENT, the error situation is back again...

> Hello!
> I'm working on a fresh install of Debian 8 and OpenMeetings 3.1.1 (I followed this instruction: https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/download/attachments/27838216/Installation%20OpenMeetings%203.1.x%20on%20Debian%208.pdf?version=4&modificationDate=1459880882000&api=v2) . When I try to upload files (always: PNG, JPG; sometimes: PPTX and PDF) nearly everytime the upload window stays open saying upload is being converted. I have to click on cancel button to dismiss the dialog window. After that, most of the time, I can refresh the openmeetings' file browser and the file shows up even though I canceled the process. When I THEN try to drag and drop the file to my whiteboard, the whiteboard turns green and I get a small icon with a plus sign moving alongside my mouse cursor, but when I try to drop it, it only drops this little icon and after that I cannot click on anything else on the ui, I have to close the browser tab.
> A strange thing is, that this screen freeze also happens with documents, that have already been uploaded successfully (mostly PDFs) before and really used before (ie. in another session hours before).
> I did try it with InternetExplorer, too, but with same result.
> Sadly, I couldn't find any useful hint in the log files and also Google didn't reveal somekind of solution.
> What can I do to find the reason for that?
> Regards,
> Holger
