[jira] [Created] (PHOENIX-1116) Add a hint to control whether a
query is traced or not
James Taylor created PHOENIX-1116:
-------------------------------------
Summary: Add a hint to control whether a query is traced or not
Key: PHOENIX-1116
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PHOENIX-1116
Project: Phoenix
Issue Type: Improvement
Reporter: James Taylor
We should provide a hint that perhaps *disables* a query from being traced. This might be useful to filter out certain queries from being traced if tracing is enabled for a connection. It might be possible to have a hint that turns tracing on for a query as well, but then it's unclear if only those queries would be traced. Needs more thought/specing.
