[jira] [Commented] (CB-9082) Accelerometer not working on moto G 2

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-9082?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=15125593#comment-15125593 ]

Paul Fischer commented on CB-9082:
----------------------------------

The fix provided by CB-9339 did work, but now there appears to be a different problem that affects a wider range of devices. I don't know precisely what is wrong, but the symptoms are:

- start a watch session with the accelerometer
- a continuous stream of accel data will be provided
- stop the watch session
- the stream of accel data stops
- restart a new watch session
- no new data...

I can reproduce this on two devices, so far: a Nexus 7 (2013 model) running Android 6.0.1 and a Lenovo Yoga 2 tablet running Android 5.0.1. Previously, both worked just fine with the fixed version of the accel plugin (which was causing a failure on the same Nexus 7), as of a few days ago they both appear to be no longer working, which is very strange...
