[jira] Created: (MRELEASE-265) Make pom writable on prepare

Make pom writable on prepare
----------------------------

                 Key: MRELEASE-265
                 URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MRELEASE-265
             Project: Maven 2.x Release Plugin
          Issue Type: Wish
    Affects Versions: 2.0-beta-6
         Environment: Any
            Reporter: Jon Strayer
            Priority: Minor

If release:prepare fails for me it normally fails because the POM is read only. Why not do automatically what I have to do manually (make the POM writable)?
