No new information in this clone of existing Attachment 81518 for Bug 122862

Some additional info
-------------------
a) This one is a spin off from "Bug 122862 - Advanced filter uses wrong Data
Area",
Comment
<https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=122862#c23>
Comments 18 ,28
b) Not a new issue, this never was different in AOO / OOo, so I change Version.
c) You can test that with Attachment 81177 for Bug 122862
d) Screenshot: Attachment 81518 for Bug 122862
e) I think we are not talking about a DEFECT here, but may be it's an
enhancement request
f) I disagree with CONFIRMED because of following reasons and switch back to
UNCONFIRMED fo now
f1) IMHO this request here misunderstands intention of the "Read filter
criteria from" selector. It simple helps to fill the cells range pane
at it's right with a correct filter criteria range
f2) If that field really should show the last applied filter many rules would
be
required
f2a) Manual chnages in cells range field should make disappear the area name
(that's already implemented)
f2b) Criteria selector contents should switch back to "undefined" if
filter has not been applied with selected range, but should be
kept if the filter has been applied
f2c) Criteria selector contents should switch back to "undefined" if
other filter has been applied afterwards
f2d) How should be shown if contents in Filter definition has changed after
filter has been applied?
f2e) May be many other things have to be considered
g) so the question is whether that ever can work in a reliable way and whether
costs for a modification are acceptable for (may be) very small benefit.
@fanyuzhen:
Can you contribute some ideas concerning "real life benefit" of the requested
behavior?
