Jackrabbit oak Lucene indexing status check

Any inputs on How to check Lucene indexing status check when it gets
finished?I need to check the Asynchronous lucene index status after
migration from Jackrabbit  to Oak.

org.apache.jackrabbit.oak.plugins.index.AsyncIndexUpdate will work? any
sample example for the same?
