[jira] Created: (MRM-1145) RSS tests do not correctly check
responses
RSS tests do not correctly check responses
------------------------------------------
Key: MRM-1145
URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MRM-1145
Project: Archiva
Issue Type: Bug
Components: web application
Affects Versions: 1.2-M1
Reporter: Brett Porter
there appears to be a bug in the tests:
testInvalidRequest
testInvalidAuthenticationRequest
testUnauthorizedRequest
They all get a 200 response when expecting an error, and were not correctly checking the response

[jira] Commented: (MRM-1145) RSS tests do not correctly check

Maria Odea Ching commented on MRM-1145:
---------------------------------------
I tried these scenarios with an actual feed reader. The last two scenarios above seems correct as I get prompted for authentication and get a 401 when I provided wrong credentials or when I don't have the necessary permissions to access the repository.
The testInvalidrequest test case seem to be incorrect though, as I am always being prompted to authenticate whenever I request 'http://localhost:8080/archiva/feeds?invalid_param=xxx'
