CouchDB build with Snow Leopard fails to start up - no suitable image
found
I can get CouchDB to build under Snow Leopard using the wiki instructions (
http://wiki.apache.org/couchdb/Installing_on_OSX) but a ./utils/run spits
out the following:
Apache CouchDB 0.11.0a810759 (LogLevel=info) is starting.

I assume this is a 32/64 bit issue. Is there a switch that needs to be
passed to configure?

It existed, but there must have been a permissions issue. sudo ./utils/run
got rid of that error but there is a new one. It appears there is a problem
loading a spidermonkey library. Is there a way I can completely scrub ICU,
erlang, spidermonkey, and couch out of my system and start from scratch?
$ sudo ./utils/run

With some direction from Jan (thank you!) I did find that an old MacPorts
install of Erlang was preventing the newly built version of Erlang from
running. I cleared out MacPorts, rebuilt Erlang then rebuilt CouchDB from a
fresh checkout of the trunk. utils/run is still crashing out, but now there
is a new message. Any troubleshooting tips would be appreciated.

That's good for starters, I forgot to ask for

as well, sorry :)
Feel free to hop on #couchdb on irc.freenode.net for some more
