[VOTE] Release of Apache NiFi 0.0.1-incubating (RC1)
Hello
We are pleased to be calling this vote for the source release of Apache
NiFi 0.0.1-incubating.
Since this is our first release as part of the Apache Incubator it will be
slightly unique because we need to release two components.
The first component is the 'nifi-nar-maven-plugin' which allows us to build
'NiFi Archives' which is part of our classloader isolation model. The
second is simply 'nifi' which is the full build and application that is
'Apache NiFi (incubating)'.
After this first release we expect to be releasing the
'nifi-nar-maven-plugin' very rarely.
So we'll break the information sections of this vote into two parts where
one is for 'nifi-nar-maven-plugin' and the other 'nifi'.
For the 'nifi-nar-maven-plugin'

Sounds good. Will continue. Sorry, if that wasn't worthy of a minus however
but the check-licenses profile fails and doesn't proceed so we aren't able
to verify the remainder of the licenses (since that failure was the first
artifact considered).

First that file is auto generated by the maven sources generation/release
process.
Second it is clearly not a licensing issue.
But clearly thus is an irritant so I will regen the build and send out rc2

Successfully validated the nifi-nar-maven-plugin including checksums,
signatures, licenses, and building.

For nifi I was able to successfully validate the checksums and signatures.
However, the license check failed. Attached is my RAT output.

Do not release this package because...
I was able to validate the nar-maven-plugin. However, when I attempted to run the 'mvn install -Pcheck-licenses' command for the NiFi build, I received the following error from Maven:
[ERROR] Failed to execute goal org.apache.rat:apache-rat-plugin:0.11:check (default) on project nifi: Too many files with unapproved license: 1 See RAT report in: V:\nifi-0.0.1-incubating\target\rat.txt -> [Help 1]
The associated 'rat.txt' file is attached.
