[VOTE] Release Apache Jackrabbit 2.8.1
A candidate for the Jackrabbit 2.8.1 release is available at:
https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/dev/jackrabbit/2.8.1/
The release candidate is a zip archive of the sources in:
https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/jackrabbit/tags/2.8.1/
The SHA1 checksum of the archive is 04daebcf1c95044852239a00e85de6996e1b8bd2.
A staged Maven repository is available for review at:
https://repository.apache.org/
The command for running automated checks against this release candidate is:
$ sh check-release.sh 2.8.1 04daebcf1c95044852239a00e85de6996e1b8bd2
Please vote on releasing this package as Apache Jackrabbit 2.8.1.
The vote is open for the next 72 hours. Because this is a security release,
the vote passes as soon as three +1 votes and no veto are cast.

a similar failure was also reported in:
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JCR-3632
I think the problem is related to the finalize() method in
JCAManagedConnectionFactory and the way the factory is used
in the test.

I think other people ran into that as well in the past. Me as well,
but usually after a few runs I usually get past it. Did anybody find a
more permanent solution to this?
Since this is not new and the rest seems fine I'm +1.
