unresponsive WebService tests
Hi,
I'm having some difficulty getting JMeter 'WebService (SOAP) Request' tests to
work and was wondering if anyone has had similar problems. I've been able to
get HTTP tests to work contacting the same server that I am trying to reach
with my WebService tests, and I have also got SOAP/XML-RPC Requests to reach
the target server (albeit with complaints of a missing SOAPAction header), but
for some reason unknown to me whenever I run a WebService test, it isn't
reaching the target server, and JMeter isn't giving me any hint as to why.
I've added an Aggregate Report to my testplan which at least tells me that
there is an Error with each WebService request, and adding a View Results Tree
simply shows the leaf name, request and response data as all being empty with
an HTTP response code of 'null' (which I'm not sure about putting much faith
in), but I've basically clicked every on/off option and filled every text box
with everything I can think of and it still isn't working. My server app is
JBoss 3.2.3 (running SOAP services made with Apache Axis 1.1), and I've had
the behaviour described above using JMeter versions 2.0.1, 2.0.2 and the
nightly build as of 20041120. Having had the same fault consistently across
these different versions suggests it's something wrong outside of JMeter, but
since JMeter isn't telling me anything I've no clue what it could be.
Any help on this would be much appreciated!
Thanks,
Simon Parkin

it's because you have to make sure you have all the necessary soap jar
files that apache soap needs.
activation.jar
mail.jar
