Introduction
Hi,
I'm a software engineer & would like to offer my (spare time) services
to do some work on OpenOffice. I enjoy finding and fixing bugs, so if
possible, doing that would be ideal. My target systems would be FreeBSD
and Windows 10.
Happy to get involved in new features, but have to start somewhere ;)
Regards,
Richard Smith

OpenOffice bugs are tracked through Bugzilla, https://bz.apache.org/ooo/
Searching for "needhelp" will get you a list of bugs needing more
analysis. I would begin with the ones with recent activity.
