Archetypes

Where does a list exist of the "predefined" archetypes for the archetype
plugin? I only know of the quickstart and the webapp archetypes and I'm
going in circles trying to figure out the rest of them.

For the list of released archetypes you can look at ibiblio at http://
www.ibiblio.org/maven2/org/apache/maven/archetypes/. AKAIK these are
the Maven-provided archetypes; there may be others released other
parties.

The best place I know of to look is the svn repo:
http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/maven/archetype/trunk/maven-archetypes/
I don't know whether all of them are released yet, I've been building
the whole archetype module locally to get the latest features.
