[jira] [Created] (QPID-7748) [Java Broker] In AMQP 1.0 ensure we
send Flow echo in a timely fashion
Lorenz Quack created QPID-7748:
----------------------------------
Summary: [Java Broker] In AMQP 1.0 ensure we send Flow echo in a timely fashion
Key: QPID-7748
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/QPID-7748
Project: Qpid
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Java Broker
Reporter: Lorenz Quack
Fix For: qpid-java-broker-7.0.0
Currently, it seems that when the broker receives a AMQP 1.0 Flow performative with {{echo=True}} we are not always sending back a Flow performantive in a timely fashion.
The spec says (2.7.4)
bq. If set to true then the receiver SHOULD send its state at the earliest convenient opportunity.
This was braught out by the Protocol test {{org.apache.qpid.tests.protocol.v1_0.transport.link.FlowTest#echoFlow}}.
