[ANNOUNCE] Welcome Thomas Bennett as OODT committer and PMC member
Hi Folks,
A while ago I nominated Thomas Bennett to be an OODT committer and PMC member. I'm happy to announce, that is now a reality.
Welcome aboard, Thomas! Feel free to say a bit about yourself.
Cheers,
Chris

Hi OODT'ers,
Chris, thanks for the welcome and apologies for the late response.
Here's a few bits about myself, in no specific order:
I work and live in Cape Town, South Africa.
I work for the SKA South Africa Project, building the
MeerKAT<http://www.ska.ac.za/meerkat/>telescope.
I work in the Science Processing Team, who's activities include: processing
and storing data products from MeerKAT and its precursor instruments.
I'm have a Masters Degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of
Cape Town.
Most of my programming experience up to now has been in C and Python.
Getting to grips with Maven, Eclipse and OODT has been a steep learning
curve :-), I'm still on it! Hopefully I'll be able to add some value to OODT
at some point.
Cheers,
Tom
